ACCELERATE CHANGE

On this page, we plead for your money to solve (y)(our) problems.

We believe in creating sensible solutions to solve the challenges we face. Win-Win situations, that most people will benefit from, without making unreasonable compromises. Help us make it happen.

PROJECT ONE

Metamorphosing old plastic for a higher purpose.

How many times have you passed a beggar on the street, feeling their pain in your heart, as well as being daunted by the enormity of the problem that this person represents?

Will our change ultimately be of help in the long run?

It is said in proverbs that if you give someone a fish, they will eat for a day. However, if you give someone the means of fishing, they can feed themselves for a lifetime"

What if beggars of the world rather were busy trying to fix one of the bigger challenges we face? Because something was in it for them as well.

It’s impossible to deny that we have a global plastic challenge. Creating things that don't easily decompose has been a tremendous gift to us, but has also become a great curse.

So what can we do to turn this situation around? The clock is ticking while lifeforms in all places are choking on our plastic. Life forms that ultimately sustains us.

We need to act quickly and what better way to help speed up the process than putting a value on the very problem itself?

In many countries, people are rewarded for recycling bottles.

For many people, collecting these bottles and checking in on their price is their main life sustenance.

If you threw out 10000 plastic bottles in the streets of Oslo, we are absolutely sure they would be gone the next day. And there would be more smiles and less misery to face the citizens the next day.

Imagine the same scenario for that piece of plastic that will otherwise choke our fellow dolphins or sea turtles.

That piece of plastic is ultimately valuable if it is utilized the right way.

What if we put a price on all plastic and reward people who collect it as well?

In order for this to work in the long term there has to be a sustainable economic model governing it.

Someone has to be willing to pay for plastic as well as be able to economically benefit from whatever they transform it into.

There is also a need for proper legal regulations.

We cannot do so much about the legal regulations other than try to preach them. On the other hand, we are happy to try to accomplish the rest by purchasing and turning plastic waste into food-growing systems. Systems that can be used to grow food inside buildings year-round. Allowing people to grow their own food inside their own homes (or get help doing it).

By supporting this project you will allow us to start experimenting with the process of turning plastic picked up in the street into granules and filament for 3D printing residential food-growing systems.

All the machinery that allows for this process to work already exists. And by being on this page you see that we have already proven that we can build systems for growing food inside, year around. It is now a matter of putting it all together and tuning it for a certain purpose.

With your help we can do it.
